Friday Feel Better Challenge – The Sun Will Come Out, Just Maybe Not Tomorrow

Your Feel Better Challenge for this week is to read three Bible stories and try to find one where God didn’t either remove the storm or protect and strengthen his people through it.

If you don’t already own one, I recommend you go out and get a copy of the One Year Chronological Bible. When you read the Bible chronologically, it reads more like a paperback novel. It’s easier to follow the characters as they weave in and out of the stories you may be familiar with.

I’ll be honest, I’ve read the Bible through more than once. It wasn’t until I read it chronologically that I literally couldn’t put it down. It came to life for me. I was able to see the patterns that so clearly pointed out God’s character in times of struggle. This reading style worked for me. It may or may not work for you. However, what have you got to lose?
