Speaker Bio/ Introduction
Vicki Huffman is an author, speaker, and educator with a passion for helping those who are hurting. She has been described as energetic, compassionate, helpful, and organized to a fault. Her passion is laser-focused on writing, speaking and teaching how God’s Word can change lives.
Vicki is a graduate of the University of Central Florida where she received a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership. She loves teaching Bible Study and has served as director for a support group ministry providing Bible Study and accountability groups for those struggling with depression, addictions, self-esteem, and grief.
She has been married to husband, Rick, for 38 years and has four grown children – two she gave birth to and two God entrusted her to raise for others. She also has eight grandchildren she absolutely adores. While she grew up in St. Louis, Missouri, she has called Melbourne, FL home for the past 26 years.
She speaks from the voice of experience after living 40 long years with depression before suffering a total emotional breakdown. Her favorite saying in a moment of stress is “Hand over the chocolate and nobody will get hurt.”
